We are the only Gold Coast plumbers that use a menu or flat rate system which is how a quantity surveyor prices out services. No other plumbing companies can match our system…it’s honest and clear cut so you completely understand the extent of the job and the proposed fee.
When you phone Whywait Plumbing Services, our friendly customer service representatives (CSR), will listen to your service request and explain that we charge an initial upfront diagnostic evaluation fee.

And yet, our CSR’s are not plumbers so they cannot give plumbing solution pricing over the phone. In fact, no professional plumber can give you a price over the phone without an on-site diagnosis.
Once we arrive at your home or business and have thoroughly diagnosed the service task’s to be undertaken we will provide you with a range of fully costed solutions. Once we have discussed the options with you and you have approved which options you wish us to proceed with, we will begin the work. You’ll always know what it costs before we start the job.
Which means that we do nothing without your prior approval. From your perspective, we realise that there’s nothing worse than getting a larger-than-expected bill once a job is done. That NEVER happens with Whywait.
Current Whywait Plumbing initial diagnostic evaluation fee structure:
- Standard Diagnostic Fee: Allows for attending to job site during normal working hours Monday through Friday, or Pre-Booked Saturday, diagnosing of work required & presenting requirements to client – $55.00 or Service Partner $49.50 inclusive of GST
- Saturday Diagnostic Service Fee: Allows for attending to job site on Saturday for bookings made between 7am and 4pm, diagnosing of work required & presenting requirements to client – $88.00 or Service Partner $49.50 inclusive of GST
- After Hours Diagnostic Service Fee: Allows for attending to job site after normal working hours, diagnosing of work required & presenting requirements to client – $110.00 or Service Partner $49.50 inclusive of GST
- Public Holiday Diagnostic Service Fee: Allows for attending to job site on a designated public holiday, diagnosing of work required & presenting requirements to client – $220.00 or Service Partner $49.50 inclusive of GST
